Scope of service
What you receive.
This service fits new deployments, a planned transition from an existing management system and installations whose daily value is unclear. We first establish whether inventory, provisioning, software maintenance or troubleshooting addresses the most important problem. That defines the necessary functionality and a realistic introduction plan. Moving to a fabric is not an automatic part of the engagement.
Prerequisites you can decide on
Device families, software, licensing, scale and required features are assessed together. Unconfirmed compatibility remains an explicit open item to resolve before purchasing or rolling out.
An agreed platform design
Deployment format, resources, management networks, DNS, NTP, certificates and communication paths are planned with their owners. Availability and recovery receive concrete requirements.
A clean initial inventory
Site hierarchy, roles and discovery scope are prepared. Selected devices are onboarded first, with access and recorded inventory verified against the existing estate.
A use case with acceptance
A working login is not the entire project outcome. An agreed workflow is demonstrated, repeated by your team and handed over with documented remaining actions.
The delivery path
Three controlled steps.

Establish purpose and suitability
Define the operational problem and success criterion, collect inventory and complete the relevant compatibility and licensing checks.

Build the platform and pilot
Implement prerequisites with infrastructure teams, verify the baseline and onboard a limited device group deliberately.
- 03
Accept the use case and operation
Test the first workflow, hand over ownership and maintenance procedures, then prioritise further capabilities by their usefulness.
What we agree before starting
Capabilities and deployment options depend on release, platform, devices and licensing. We confirm these for the actual project; a general data sheet does not replace that assessment. SD-Access, ISE migration, equipment procurement and replacing every existing tool are separate decisions.

Do we have to introduce SD-Access?
No. We can plan a use case bounded to the existing network. Whether fabric functionality is useful later depends on your target architecture and is assessed separately.
Can you take over an existing installation?
Yes. We assess its version, health, access, backups and integrations. Required remediation or an upgrade is identified before expanding the deployment.
Is the newest release automatically the best choice?
No. Device support, required features, known limitations and the supported upgrade path determine the choice. The decision is justified against your actual estate.
