Cisco Meraki / Managed services
Meraki operations.Clear ownership.
You have the dashboard. What you lack is time to operate it. We take on agreed operational responsibilities for your Meraki network, or work alongside your internal IT team in a co-managed model.
Scope of service
What you receive.
A good fit when tickets and changes compete with other work, firmware is repeatedly deferred, or no one has a complete view of sites and licence deadlines. We start with your estate and a defined scope of service, not an unconditional promise to cover everything.
Alerts with a next step
We define relevant events, recipients and escalation paths. Within the agreed service window, we assess alerts, investigate incidents and coordinate next steps with your IT team, connectivity provider or vendor support.
Traceable changes
An SSID, VLAN, firewall rule or new branch: we separate standard changes from project work, agree approvals and record the implementation and functional checks. Repetitive tasks can be automated through the Dashboard API after review.
Firmware and renewals in view
Firmware versions, advisories and licence deadlines become part of a shared operations plan. Maintenance windows and checks depend on devices and applications; an automatic update is not an acceptance test.
Reporting that supports decisions
The agreed service review covers open risks, incidents, changes and upcoming decisions. You retain dashboard visibility and receive maintained operational documentation with named responsibilities.
The delivery path
Three controlled steps.
- 01
Assess the estate
Review the organisation, devices, permissions, licences and open incidents. Identify inherited issues and any separate remediation project.
- 02
Define the service
Agree service hours, priorities, response targets, change scope and contacts in writing. Assign clear responsibilities to your team and Configlane.
- 03
Take over deliberately
Set up access, test alert delivery and agree runbooks. Regular service begins after the operational handover.
What we agree before starting
Automated monitoring does not imply round-the-clock staffed response. Service hours, response targets, on-site work, replacement hardware and vendor support are explicitly scoped in the proposal. Hardware and licences are not automatically included.
Good to know
Your questions. Clear answers.
Can we continue to use the dashboard ourselves?
Yes. In a co-managed service, we agree who performs and approves each task. For customer-owned estates, we plan around a customer-owned organisation and named, auditable access. Onboarding establishes the scope and permissions.
Does the service automatically include 24/7 support?
No. Automated alerting and staffed incident handling are different services. Available service hours and binding response targets are agreed before commissioning and recorded in the contract.
How is this different from Meraki vendor support?
Our scope is operating your environment: prioritisation, approved changes, maintenance and documentation. We do not replace vendor support or licence entitlements; we coordinate technical escalation within the agreed scope.
Let’s discuss your requirements
A few details are enough to begin.
You do not need a finished design. We establish the need, boundaries and a dependable next step.
Discuss Meraki operationsHelpful for the first conversation
- Site count and approximate number of devices
- Responsibilities your team wants to retain or delegate
- Required service hours and critical applications
- Known issues and the next licence renewal
