Cisco Meraki / Design & rollout

New Meraki sites.One tested standard.

A new site needs to work for your business, not just show green in a dashboard. We design and build your Meraki network from the initial architecture to technical acceptance, for one branch or a phased multi-site rollout.

Scope of service

What you receive.

A good fit for new openings, relocations, standardising an evolved estate or moving to Meraki. Differences in connectivity, cabling and local applications belong in the design before hardware is ordered or a date is promised.

A design ready for procurement

You receive a target architecture defining MX, switching and wireless roles, a reasoned bill of materials and licensing assumptions. Port counts, PoE, uplinks, bandwidth and local dependencies inform the selection.

Standards that allow exceptions

Naming, addressing, VLANs, SSIDs and permissions are defined before rollout. Templates are used for suitable site types; necessary differences are documented rather than blindly overwritten.

A workable cutover

For each site, we establish circuit readiness, cabling, installation, local contacts and a maintenance window. The runbook includes go/no-go criteria, a fallback path and tests of business-critical applications.

Acceptance and handover

You receive the inventory, configuration baseline, test results and outstanding items. Your team can operate the network, or Configlane can take on the subsequent service.

The delivery path

Three controlled steps.

  1. 01

    Define site types

Capture requirements and agree the architecture and bill of materials. Plan delivery times and on-site work as explicit dependencies.

  2. 02

    Validate in a pilot

Build a representative site and test routing, wireless, access and relevant failure scenarios. Apply the findings before the next wave.

  3. 03

    Roll out in waves

Prepare first, then approve, cut over and accept each site. Documentation and open items move into regular operations with the network.

What we agree before starting

Zero-touch provisioning does not replace a working internet circuit, installation, cabling or application testing. Procurement and on-site responsibilities are assigned in the proposal. We confirm rollout dates after reviewing these prerequisites.

Good to know

Your questions. Clear answers.

Can you build just one site?

Yes. Scope follows your project rather than a website minimum. A well-documented first site can become the starting point for future branches.

Do all sites need to be identical?

No. We distinguish site types and justified exceptions. Meraki templates share settings across bound networks, so proposed changes and locally supported overrides must be reviewed first.

Can you operate the network after rollout?

Yes, as a separately agreed managed or co-managed service. Responsibilities, service hours and handover criteria are established before project closure.

Let’s discuss your requirements

A few details are enough to begin.

You do not need a finished design. We establish the need, boundaries and a dependable next step.

Plan a Meraki rollout

Helpful for the first conversation

  • Planned sites and opening dates
  • Users, devices and required applications
  • Existing circuits, cabling and network plans
  • Requirements for guests, internal networks and ongoing operations
